We are waiting for you!   Do not exchange money except at authorized exchange centers!   If you are not European, you can use ONLY GATE 1 to exit and enter in the port.   If you use individual transport, look for authorized taxi cars only and pay attention to the fare.   Pay attention! There are some crooks who pretend to be from Seamen's Club. They will ask you for money in various forms and then disappear. Ignore them or call the police. Seamen's Club representatives will never ask you for money.

In 2010, at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Conference in Manila, Philippines, the International Day of Sailors was established, which is celebrated annually on June 25.

On this occasion, at the "Seamen's Club", on Traian Street, in Constanţa, starting with 10.00, the Free Navigators' Union (SLN) will organize a meeting with current and former sailors, as well as with Constanta notables and the local press, to celebrate the event. Adrian Mihălcioiu, the representative of ITF, the world's most important structure in the field of protection and defense of the rights of seafarers, will talk about the current situation of the over 25,000 Romanian sailors, most of them patent officers!

Last year, the Day was dedicated to the Black Sea!
